Heart of the Swarm Protoss Units

As some may know, the carrier and the Mother Ship were removed from play. The carrier has always been criticized by Protoss players. The mother also was not a preferred unit between them, then we will see the reactions.
But not only the Protoss units withdrawn live, since it gained some units very interesting. Their old units not gained nor lost abilities, but the Nexus won some legal possibilities.

The first is the Arc Shield skills. Using this ability, the target structure gains extra armour and shields temporarily, as well as an attack similar to that of a photon Cannon, but that harms only Light units. This ability costs only 25 energy.

The other ability gained is convening in mass, very similar to the retired Mother Ship. However, this is more focused on evacuation of a difficult position than bringing troops to defend their base, once summoned units are paralyzed for a few seconds when they return home. This ability costs 75 energy.

These new abilities came to give a new life energy of Nexus in mid and late game, where we no longer have so many options to spend Time with.

Heart of the Swarm Zergs Units

Viper

With the Viper to Swarm with its detection providing Parasite Eyepiece, the Supervigia was removed from the game. Without him and his beast boy scout, I believe that the Zerg will have to be the old fashioned: pneumatics carapace with Overlords.

Corruptor

The Corruptor was modified as well. He no longer has his ability to corruption. Instead, he has a skill Syphon. This ability is targeting enemy structures. These structures are slowly damaged (emphasis on slowly, because in my tests I had already won the game before they could destroy a pillar 5 Mischief energy), and at the same time, sucking minerals that are added to the Zerg army.

Ultralisk

The Ultralisk won a phenomenal skill, Entocado Attack, in which he delves into the ground and instantly emerge beneath the enemy troops, causing great harm to the area.

Heart of the Swarm Terran Units

Thor

The Warhound came to replacing the former Thor. We did a Trollface with feedback that will feel lack of Thor, who liked it, etc. So now let’s talk about the NEW THOR. Yes, Thor was not eliminated from the game, he just moved up the technological tree Terran and won some “slight” enhancements. He is now a single unit in the Terran army, as was the Mother Ship Protoss. Yes, you can only have one at a time now. It increased in size, having the same size as the former Thor (before the Blizzard decrease it). He now does justice to the cannon that has on the back. With the use of them (it is a skill that uses energy 150), weapon on the ground, and bombards an area of radius of a nuclear missile (if not more), with a damage of 300 (600 against structures)! Yes, it’s more than a nuclear missile. Those who have read our article on the evolution of StarCraft 2, must remember a video presentation of the Terranos, which demonstrated the cannons of Thor in action. It is more or less like this!
